The Polaris 10 GPUs include the RX 470, RX 480 and another high-end card that has yet to be announced. I received an RX 580 test unit from AMD and can confirm it has the same PCI ID (67DF) as the RX 480. 😀Īpril 2017 Update: AMD released Radeon RX 500 series on April 18th, 2017. The wonderful news is 10.12.6 will include drivers for RX 470, RX 480, RX 570, and RX 580. June 2017 Update: With the release of mid-2017 iMacs, Apple has officially used Polaris Ellesmere GPUs in its lineup. Reboot and you will have a perfectly working USB wireless stick.
KEXT UTILITY FOR HIGH SIERRA INSTALL
Install the Kext with kext utility then run the installer pkg. I have included the kext as a standalone as well. It will install the wireless utility and all associated files but not the actual kext. When you run this package as is, it will not install the kext on macOS sierra. The Kext Wizard utility installs like most Mac apps, by simply dragging and dropping its icon in the Applications directory. Easy to install manager for your kernel extensions.
